Senior Piping Designer - S3D

Edoxx Technical Services LLC is a US Company based in Houston, Texas, with access to +350 highly experienced and advanced Engineers and Technicians delivering know-how and expertise in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation engineering. Other related fields such as Projects Control, QA/QC Inspection, 3D Geometrical and Intelligent Modeling, and Drafting are also available.

Our client is looking for a Senior Piping Designer to work on-site at their Katy, Tx office. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in executing piping design projects using S3D software. This role will primarily involve designing and detailing piping systems for various petrochemical projects.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and review piping layouts, isometric, and detailed drawings using S3D software.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the integrity and functionality of the piping systems.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior designers or drafters.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors to address any issues or concerns related to the piping design.
• Perform design calculations and analysis as required.
• Review and approve material requisitions and vendor drawings.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and potential solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry or related as a Piping Designer.
• Proficiency in using S3D software for piping design.
• Familiarity with other 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D or PDMS is a plus.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
